Talented young designer Dilyana Mateeva will be present her new collection “Fashion Melody”  during the second night of Sofia FashionWeek 2018 on Tuesday, September 18, dedicated to the debuting designers.

The “Fashion Melody” collection isinspired by the feminine elegance in the rock music and more specifically by the lyrical heroines in rock songs in the end of 80s and early 90s of the ХХ century. The collection combines practicality and elegance with the insurgency. Clear silhouettes and feminine lines of patterns are combined with specific elements in patterns and interesting color combinations. The accent is on author images on outsiders and designer hats. Characteristics of the collection are hand-made drawings on the pop art style. The drawings include images with female faces and the pen as a symbol of creativity- the writing of music.

Dilyana Mateeva has graduated “Artsciens” at St. Petersburg, in Kliment Ohridski University in 2013, Bachelor and Master degree in the National Art Academy with module “Fashion” in 2016. She has presented her designer creations at the invitation of Proffesor Lubomir Stoykov during the events of the Academy of Fashion – BG Fashion Icon 2016 and Golden Fashion Party 2016 as well as Sofia Fashion Week in autumn-winter 2016-2017. She worked as an assistant to World Vision Photographer Vogue “(Italy) – Omi Chowdhury.
